David Letterman
Explains the World
Television Personality, David Letterman, goes behind the scenes to the inner-working of the globe to explain why people and things are the way they are!
Wednesday-March 16, 2005 (IRAQ): Finally some quiet! Yay! I was so relieved. No noise. Nothing. Nothing at all. Well, except for this one brick wall that for some reason I was inspired to try and jump over. I did! I jumped over it. Well, I should have looked before I went over that wall because, ahh... !! There wasn't anything on the other side to break my fall. Well, thats not exactly true. There were some scorpions. I guess you could say that it helped that they were there. No. You couldn't really say that, could you?
I was beginning to lose it. I was attacked the other day by a bunch of people and now today I come to a country expecting some quite for a change and all I find is scorpions! Where did I land? I must have took a wrong exit back there somewhere.
So I turned around, well... hoping that the plane, train, or car that I came here in was still around. Oh well. Just as I suspected before I even turned my head; nothing. Well, nothing and a soda. But I didn't drink soda, so that wasn't much help. I could have used it though because I was really dehidrated. But, I didn't drink soda so it didn't do me any help. Maybe I should have started? No...maybe not. Anyways...
I turned my head to realize a plane was landing nearby. Hey! Cool. David Letterman. What a surprise... Well, not really. He was mostly drunk so I couldn't really call that a surprise... him being drunk I mean. "Hey there! What have you been up to? Have you found anything yet?"
I ignored that comment. I looked for a minute out into the distance as if I WAS actually looking for something and then I got into the plane and flew to another country.
